Born on 1st August, 1932. Enrolled Advocate at Madras on  25^th July, 1955. Practised  on  civil  side  original  and appellate and also handled Writs  and  Labour  matters  of Madras. Elected member of the Executive Committee of the Tamil Nadu Legal Aid Board. Appointed  permanent  Judge, Madras High  Court  from  25.1.1979.  Acting Chief Justice from 15.11.1992.  Appointed as Chief Justice  of  Himachal Pradesh High Court on  29.1.1994.  Retired on 1.8.1994.
